In a profile for The New York Times, Michelle V. Stacy ’77 reflects on the stages of her professional career and how she arrived at her current role as president of the Keurig unit of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters.
Stacy was a religion major and is a member of Dartmouth’s second four-year coeducational class. Her career, Stacy says, includes positions with Richardson-Vicks, Clairol, Parker Brothers, the Gillette Company, and Procter & Gamble. She has served as Keurig’s president since 2008.
Speaking about her professional trajectory to the Times, Stacy says, “I realize that the two times I took myself out of the corporate race really enabled me to become a better leader. It allowed me the freedom to focus on the people and team side of leadership.”
