David Goodman, a professor of pediatrics and community and family medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine, talks with California Healthline about Dartmouth research on variations in pediatric and end-of-life care.
Of the pediatric work, Goodman says he hopes that it “stimulates the community of providers that provide care for children to examine themselves.” The end-of-life care research “points to deeply troubling patterns of care for a terrifically important population,” he says.
Goodman is director of the Center for Health Policy Research, at The Dartmouth Institute.
